For having been alienated from Father God and having Him far from our minds and hearts, it can be a painful reunion, but in the end, a glorious reconciliation opens the door to an intimate relationship with Him. He Himself has made the way for such a reconciliation to take place by sending his Son Jesus into the world to pay the price for the sins of men by offering his own life as a sacrifice for the redemption of souls. The wages of sin is death and God has no pleasure in the death/destruction of sinners, starting with their own self-destruction as they follow their own ways and reject wisdom from the Word of God which is the truth. That is why the Gospel is preached for the salvation of souls. And only the truth saves.

Take heed that your way to God be not misrepresented to you by people you have trusted to lead you spiritually. I urge you to seek the truth of God's word with all that you have. Ask, seek and knock at the door. Jesus will reveal Himself to those who diligently seek Him. Seek Him, not your own way, not people's way, but in truth, wanting only the truth to guide you and seeking it from God in all humility and with all your heart.
